In 2019, a study of 3453 LGBTQ adults in the United States still reported high numbers of discrimination. 51% reported themselves or a family member being on the receiving end of physical violence as well as 51% also reporting Sexual harassment and 57% reported being threatened and being Non-Sexually harassed. 26% reported that they were treated wrongfully by police and by the court systems. 91% of all participants of the survey believed that LGBT discrimination exists in the US today.
